Studying tourism was the natural choice for Johnpaul Ezeani as he identified very early, his curiosity about the wonders of nature. Ezeani holds a bachelor’s degree in Archaeology & Tourism as well as a Diploma in Tourism & Museum Studies.
After his University Studies, he founded Iconnect Tourism, a foremost tour company with expertise in Tourism Development/Planning, Event Management & Tour packaging. In 2007, Johnpaul organized the first ever Cultural festival in Anambra State and is the author of the first Enugu State Tourist guide, published in 2013 & Anambra State Tourist guide 2018. He was also involved in the production of the Cultural Festival Compendium of Enugu and Anambra States in Collaboration with the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO)
JohnPaul’s company, Icconnect Tourism planned the Pictorial Exhibition at the National Museum of Unity, Enugu to mark 100 Years of the Nigeria Amalgamation. They were also involved in the planning and execution of a Mini Carnival/ Boot Camp in Akpu Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Organized the Closing Ceremony of Enugu Culture & Tourism fiesta twice and Staff training workshops for the Tourism Department of the Anambra Sate ministry of Diaspora affairs Culture and Tourism
A Founding Trustee of the Touristry Consultants Forum (TCF), Johnpaul Ezeani is a member Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and serves as Secretary of Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria, (FTAN) South East Zone. He is a narrator on the TV documentary “Onye Ije” a programme that highlights the tourism potentials in South East Nigeria and airs on African Magic & Television Continental (TVC), Johnpaul
